blog #6

My views on GLBT  are neutral feeling towards all. I dont judge a person by what they are sexually. I really dont care if what a person got going on in there life. Everyone is equal in my book.
The topics of unit three seems weird because the views are from a gay persons eyes. Usually views on sex are always from a straight persons eyes. Most people think its considered right when a male and a female are together so when a person that like the same sex it becomes weird.

Im a heterosexual  male but i dont hate others that are different than i am. I believe all people all different but still should be considered equal. I think its good that we are reading about this topic so that we all can open ours minds and learn more about people.

The video we watch was a crazy one. The lady seemed she needed mental help. Its could to fight for what you believe in but they was doing it in the wrong way. Its not cool to disrespect a funereal with the gay hate and what you believe is wrong doing. She brained washed hair children in believing what she thought.

The heterosexual quiz was different because because it was in a different view.It was like being gay was the norm and heterosexual was the outcast. This unit should be interesting

  1. i agree with you on the fact that I don't past judgment on any person different than me whether gay, straight, or any other preference. I think that people are all different, and the way people treat others just because they are different is totally out of line.

  2. I agree with you the woman from the church group was nuts! I feel as though if they want to tell people to go to hell then how are they reaching out and telling people about the bible like the bible says to do. Instead of yelling ignorant things why not give a pamphlet out about your religion and teach people that way. They don't realize that many people do believe in God and aren't actually going to hell.

The quiz was really interesting to think about during class. I was a little appalled by the questions that were asked especially the one about knowing if you were straight if you've never slept with the same sex. All in all it made me realize that this is probably how homosexuals feel in the real world and how they are judged. They probably get asked those questions every day.
